How long did you wait to have sex?

Moms with tears and stitches! How long did you wait to have sex and how long did it take for it to feel comfortable/not painful? I had 4 second degree tears and after a month post partum I'm still in pain. Getting better but it's still sore and aches at times.

I had an episiotomy 3rd degree and several internal tears. I was cleared at 9wks pp for sex and we tried at 10wks pp. It was horribly painful. I’m 9 months pp and sex it still uncomfortable.

16 weeks postpartum and still haven't had sex yet, I have no desire to and probably won't for awhile

Following! I had internal and 3rd degree tearing and I’m almost 4 wks pp. I’m terrified of even the thought of sex  but I know my boyfriend is super ready  lol

Don’t know how bad the tear was but I had an episiotomy also with some stitches. I was soar and achey for about 2 months. Tried to have sex after 3 months, it was a little painful but mostly just uncomfortable, like the walls of my vagina felt different. After 8 months pp, everything was back to normal. Maybe even better cuz that sh*t was toit ;)

I waited well past the 6 week mark because it still felt painful to move certain ways even after healing.

i had seconds degree and literally i waited not by choice more coz like we at to 6months and it took me while very long time to even bein to enjoy sex and i found out all tuinhs whag used to turn me on didnt anymore

Had 3rd degree tear and waited til 6 week check up when doc ok’d it. Hurt the first couple of times tho

7 weeks. I had a second degree tear, couple stitches. I stopped being sore down there after like a week though
