"Perfect" birth control type?? Anyone??
I've been on the pill for about two years now to regulate my cycles. I used to have super heavy and super long periods. I think I've tried six or seven different types of pills and none of them have really worked. They've solved the heaviness and length issue, as well as the acne and mood swings. But, I still get knocked on my ass for the first day or two every month. No matter how much I sleep the week before and during my period, I'm exhausted. I get horrible nausea, cramps, dizziness, and headaches. And I'm tired of it. I've had to cancel dates and things bc I'm too ill to even get out of bed. I'm fed up.
Ladies, have you found a birth control that has worked well for you?? IUD, ring, implant, pill?
Is this normal? Should I just go along with it? I mean it's only a day or two out of every month... I just had to cancel a date with my boyfriend and his family and I'm basically pissed (and extremely hormonal, so that's not helping either).
Idk what are your thoughts??
