IUD trouble

Hey ladies , as the title says I’ve been having some problems with my IUD. I had my Skyla IUD in for over a year now and I love it. I got my period about 3 weeks ago but about 4 days after I started spotting and it was almost black. I thought it was just because old blood was making its way out. It lasted 3 days but now, a week later I’m spotting again and it’s red/light pink. Has anyone had this problem?
