You can always call your doctor and ask.I waited last week (also was 37 weeks now 38 tomorrow) and didn’t call because I could still feel him move but his movements were less intense and he didn’t move as often. If I drank juice or gave him a little poke he’d move so I knew he couldn’t be too distressed. At my appointment Friday I told the doctor and he said the movements will become different the lower baby gets and the less room baby has. This weekend though I had some of the harder movements again and I think with work I’m just doing too much too far into pregnancy.I know having the doctor tell me my baby was okay was a huge relief so never feel stupid for calling or asking!

If you ever have any concerns don’t hesitate to call your doctor. That’s what they are there for. They’ll likely bring you in and check the baby out and if everything is fine, at least you have peace of mind. I didn’t feel our baby for over 12 hours and almost called but then he kicked like crazy. No shame in being careful.

I’m 38 and 4 now but I noticed this last week too. It would pick up or decrease by the day and her routines changed a bit. I’ve been getting weekly NSTs though (bc I have hypertension) and all is well with her movement. I would contribute it to running out of space but if you have any doubts or worry, don’t hesitate to call your doctor!

There are days that I only notice movement when I'm laying down to do kick counts. Once I do lay down to do them it's always consistent so I haven't gone in... however, if I noticed a change I'd be in triage for sure. My doctor has made it very clear she would rather have someone come in for 100 false alarms than regret they didn't act sooner. "Come in, anytime. Even if it's just to ease your anxiety"

Please go get checked out for the peace of your mind! Even if baby doesn't have room to move, remember they are bigger now, so you should feel any little movementMy baby was moving way less than normal at 34 weeks last week, and it turned out she isn't gaining enough weight, has blood flow issues in the cord and low fluidI never would have known if the doctor didn't hear my concern and did an ultrasoundSince last week I have really increased my protein intake and water and she is back to moving like normal

I’m 37 Weeks and due to him not having as much room i barely feel anything... just squirming here and there... he’s so used to me pushing him to get him to move at this point pushing him really does faze him... just to confirm everything is fine I usually drink a soda and he gets a sugar rush and starts to squirming around and kicking

35 weeks and 4 days. I feel like she has slowed down a bit. I still feel her but not as much and not as often. I'm paranoid as it is about everything. But my doctor hasn't started checking my cervix or the babies position yet, and the last ultrasound was at 28 weeks. So I feel a little in the dark, even though I know that's normal. A few nights ago I was having some consistent cramping but I couldn't really track it so I don't know if it was contractions or not. I have noticed that she is lower this week than she was last week. The cramping kept me awake the other night but I was also really gassy so I don't know if that's all it is. But very early this morning I got up to pee and had such a bad cramping pain that I doubled over and couldn't walk for a minute. So I called the doc and am going in shortly. I haven't had any fluid leaking, but mucus has definitely gotten more over the past few days.

Reason for my pain and baby moving less. She is headdown and engaged, I am 1cm dilated and 50% effaced. Doctor said I may not being feeling her much since she simply is running out of room. And the pains I felt were definitely contractions since I am progressing along.

Yes, I'm also 37 wks. I just had a doctor appointment today and after discussing this with my doctor we decided to have me induced by this weekend or early next week before I reach 38 wks.
