I need answers ‼️‼️

So I’m about 3 days late on my period. Typically my period comes and goes like clockwork. The day before my period was suppose to start I️ experienced faint cramps (as I️ typically do) and along with the cramping I️ had very little spotting. Now the spotting is gone as well as the cramps and I’m stuck wondering what the hell happened to my period. I️ had been taking my birth control at different times for about two weeks but I didn’t go a day without taking it so I️ wonder if that had anything to do with my missed period. I️ also took a pregnancy test and it came back negative. Has anyone else ever experienced this while in birth control??
