How long does your baby stay awake at a time?

My baby will be 6 weeks on Tuesday. The past 4 days he stays awake at least 2 hours at a time during the day and at least 1 stretch of 4/5 hours 😳 he is sleeping about 2-3 hour stretches at night with feedings about 30-40 min.  Last week he was only staying awake for about an hour at a time, eat, diaper change, back to sleep.  How about everyone else??

Sounds exactly like my almost 7 week old!! He is healthy, happy, and alert boy so I’m not too worried about his longer than average awake periods. He also sleeps 2-4 hour stretches consistently at night. Like between 8pm-8am he is literally asleep unless he is nursing and then goes right back down. We usually get in 2-3 naps between 8am-8pm for an hour or two.

My 4 week old sleeps in 3 hour blocks then it's bottle, diaper, play for an hour, swaddle, pacifier, then hold her for a minute and put her down. Repeat.

My baby is 3 weeks old and lsst couple of days has been staying awake for 3+ hrs at a time. Tried everything to get her to rest. Think she has bad wind so that wont be helping. Hopefully will pass soon.
