how soon do std show up?

how soon does chlamydia show up on an std test? i had (protected) sex (he did give me head though) with someone who might have chlamydia last monday, so a week ago today (11/20) is it too soon to test for it? when i called the nurse to ask if i should get tested again she didn’t ask when it happened
