Late Period

Hey ladies! So my period is now 5 days late, I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative, so what else could be causing it to be late?? I'm starting to worry because I've never been this late before. I have been really stressed lately, but I have been stressed in the past and its only been a few days late. Help!
