November 15th I woke up at 5 am to get ready for work. I had my breakfast and Asher moved once which is not normal. I didn’t get so concerned just told myself to watch and see if it continues for the rest of the day. I text my boyfriend let know Asher wasn’t moving like he normally do and told me I need go check on him. FYI I work at a hospital and that’s the hospital I planned to delivery Asher at. Anyway I started to talk to one of my coworker about concerns and she was encouraging me that he’s ok and don’t stress about it. Well I had lunch and he was still not active like he normally is and my stomach keep being hard solid. Finally I got off work then went upstairs to triage and I explained to them my concerns. They decided to start monitoring me and at first he was having normal heartbeat then it start get high in like 180s then it would drop. The nurse came into my room and explain to me that when I was having contractions Asher’s heartbeat would get high then drop and that’s concerning. The funny thing is I never felt the contractions at all so she step out the room to contact my doctor to see what’s next step to do. Less than 5 minutes later she came in with items and said to me well mommy you’re going had a baby today. I’m like what because I was so shock because I didn’t expect that. Then she explained to me that I’m going end having c-section. I called my boyfriend right away I told him that he need to get to hospital now because we’re going finally get to meet Asher. I was nervous to be honest because this is my second pregnancy and a c-section delivery was not what I wanted. I knew the healing process was longer but it was out my hands. Anyways I called my family and closed friends to saying prayer for baby Asher and I because I’m having a c-section and his heartbeat keep dropping. Finally my boyfriend got to the hospital and noticed I’m nervous so he started talking to me to calm me down. I end up having baby Asher at 5:54 pm I heard his first cry and I cried. He was 6 pounds 5 ounces and 19.6 inches.Not the delivery I planned but happy I didn’t have to wait until November 24th to meet him.
