Can someone tell me or explain to me what can cause a period to just be discharge with one time in between bathroom trips of spotting?

Stress, hormone fluctuations, illness, medication, changes in diet, can all affect when we get our period, for how long, and how heavy the flow. When my husband deployed I skipped my period for four months in a row just due to stress. My doctor said not to worry unless I skipped five months without spotting between or I've had unprotected sex and think I am pregnant. If you've had unprotected sex, you could test, but usually spotting of any type means you aren't. Good luck girl! ❤️
