Third trimester and sweating buckets at night!
I have never sweat this much at night! Does anyone else have issues sweating buckets? I normally get really warm at night, especially during the summer months, but by October and November when the weather gets cold enough to bring winter along I’m usually fine (pre-pregnancy that is).
On average my room is no warmer than 55 degrees, and yet every night sometime in the early morning I wake up dripping in sweat, sheets and pillow damp, and the room doesn’t feel frigid like it should. When I first go to bed I’m usually freezing and ready to get warm under the covers. This has been going on I think since just before I entered my third trimester. I’m 33 weeks, and dealing with all the other fun nighttime pregnancy things, but didn’t anticipate that my body’s inner thermostat would be broken at night! This is also my first pregnancy, so this is all new to me.
Has anyone else experienced this, or is anyone else in the same sweaty boat as me? Miraculously I haven’t slimed my husband yet, but I’m sure it’s only a matter of time. Does this go away after the baby is born?
