So I've never had the chance to tell any of my babies birth story's even though they all had their moments 😅. This is my last baby's story. She was due 26/07/2016. Around the 36wk mark I had this rash pop up on my arm, a week later I get told it was cholestasis at this point I'm scratching like hell my body is sore and I haven't had a lot of rest, it took two hours from when I got up to start the day to my point of exhaustion. I get told that I'm going to be induced at 38wks this scared me! I've never been induced with my others and it was whole new territory for me. I get a date for induction 13/07/2016. That morning I was so nervous I get up at 5am bearly had any sleep but away we go to the hospital. My Partner decided McDonald's was a good choice for breakfast 😄 we get to the hospital about 8.30 am and around an hour later I get the gel to start things up, I get told I'm at a 1. at this point we spent the whole day trying to start contractions nothing worked! ! about 8pm I'm kinder having cramps but not enough to say that I'm in labour I get checked around 9-10pm and I'm still at a 1 like wtf I was so tried I just wanted her out already! at that time the ward was closing and my partner had to go home, I wanted to cry. So after talking he goes home I had like maybe 1 hrs of sleep then my waters break ( Yusss) I'm waddling down the hall told the midwife that she needed to tell mine my babies come quickly after my waters go. then it hits me like a ton of bricks contractions are coming quickly and they feel so close together, I'm put on a monitor and I can't move through them I'm struggling. As they moved me to a delivery room my partner just makes it lol he speeded safely all the way to the hospital just to make it 😅, at this point I'm ready to push my midwife isn't there yet, after 20mins of pushing she's here! so

this is the amazing thing she had not one but two true knots around her cord like wow all I could think was she could have died 😢. She came into the world at 12.30ish 14/07/2016. Lily Iris Anahera Sexton 7pounds 8 ounces

She's now a very cheeky 1 year old.
