HSG Test Pain

I’ve been TTC for 11 months and will schedule an HSG soon. When I had an IUD inserted it was probably the worst pain I have ever felt. I’m concerned the HSG catheter will be just as painful. I have never had a baby and have always had pretty normal periods. Has anybody has both an IUD and an HSG test and have opinions?! Thanks!
