How do I edit my calendar?

I'm having trouble editing my calendar and hoping someone can help me? When I edited the last day of my period it brought next months one forward by a week giving me a 21 day cycle. I've checked my settings and it says 28 day cycle length but the calendar isn't showing this. How can I adjust it so I can see my proper predicted fertile days?
