Incompetent Cervix???

I am 35 weeks and 4 days. I just got back from the doctor, who informed me that I am 1cm dilated and 50% effaced. She said this was perfectly fine. But when I put this information into Glow I got two new "Insights", one talking about dilating happening before being full term. it called it "Incompetent Cervix". So should I be concerned or not?

no, you should not be concerned. Listen to your doctor. First of all, at 35 weeks babies lungs are good, so if they came today they have an excellent chance of being healthy and completely fine. Also, many women walk after dilated for weeks and weeks before they go into labor and some women only dilate once labor begins. No am incompetent cervix is what I have. I had to get a cerclage at 26 weeks because I had a short cervix and I’m 2 cm dilated. At 35 weeks it’s totally normal you are almost done. I’m 35 weeks and I get my cerclage relived next week at 36 weeks and I stop my makena shots.

No, your fine. Your 35 weeks. It’s normal when your this far along to start to dilate because your body is preparing for birth.
