Officially Confused?!?

Okay so I am CD31 with brown spotting today. I took my first ever opk (just got them in the mail today) just out of curiosity and it looks like it might be positive?! I thought for sure there would be nothing. Took a pregnancy test after and it came out negative. Could I really be ovulating the same time as when my period starts?!

opks aren't positive til both lines are same color or the test line is darker than control line close to actually ovulating though

It needs to be darker than it is now! 
The test line has to be the same or darker than control line!
