Anyone else bleed and not miscarry?

Hi there

I've been bleeding since last Thursday ( red light to medium period). Went straight to ER and doctor they said following scan there is a sac and womb is closed but can't confirm if it's viable for 7 days. Im back this Thursday for the results. I don't feel hopeful cause I don't feel pregnant anymore ( symptoms gone etc) bleeding has eased but still there. Anyone else experiencing the same? Oh ...and something really weird is happening to me I keep getting the phantom smell of sweets several times a day. V strange! I would be 6w 5d today.
