My periods late

My period is late and I have had sex with my husband but it’s protected sex. I’m late by like maybe 3-4 days and we don’t want any kids at the time. I have sore boobs but no cramps like I usually do. He says there is no way I could be pregnant cause he’s never ejaculated inside me and I’m afraid to take a test :( what do you guys think it is normal ?
