Do guys mean what they say during sex ?

Me && my ex spent months arguing because things changed . We haven’t had sex in 3 months . We started back texting as friends a week ago && had sex two days ago . He usually doesn’t talk whenever we have sex , but anyways... we was having sex on the bed && he started kissing me . We got on the floor because we didn’t want to make any noises . So yeah he started hitting it from the back , he leans forward against me && says “I miss you “ then a few strokes after that he said “I still love you “ in my ear . I stayed quiet && didn’t respond because I was shocked he said that 😂🤦🏾‍♀️ . After we finished we cuddled for a little until his brother pulled up to pick him up . He told me to text him , but I didn’t . He ended up texting me when he got home . So I asked him did he really mean what he said && he was like “idk I was wondering the same thing “ . So we both was like maybe it was just sex talk idk , but my guy friend told me sometimes guys express their emotions during sex when they don’t know how to vent 🤔 .
