Stretch mark prevention???

Question

I’m trying to be proactive if possible and am searching out some lotions/oils that might help.  Any of you ladies using anything to help prevent stretch marks or using it to reduce the appearance of existing stretch marks?? Thanks 🙂

you cannot get rid of them or prevent them with lotion and oil etc
drink loads of water too stay still hydrated which helps your skin have proper elasticity
eat healthy and control your weight gain
they are hereditary and 95% of pregnant women get them.

They are hereditary so you may not avoid them. But taking care of your skin is a good idea. Drink lots of water, eat healthy and use a good moisturizer. But most women will get them anyway to different degrees

lotion just makes me,feel icky but they have cocoa and Shea butter body washes that,are awesome I use that . I still have some marks but not as bad as I thought

Staying hydrated, and all my pregnancies I used tummy butter and bio oil 2x a day once in morning and once before bed, i literally only have 1 stretch mark on my belly.  Everyones different though.

vitamin E oil and coconut oil helps with elasticity, but doesn't guarantee you'll prevent them

To stay away of stretch marks I used Weleda pregnancy oil (the best one I ever tried, also with my first pregnancy), and I'm using hydrolyzed collagen tablets to supplement my skin with the needed vitamins etc to be able to stretch out (use right before bedtime), and it's extremely important for the growing fetus as it needs to build up limbs, bones, discs, skin etc, and it's one of the main building blocks. And use more food rich in protein. Good luck!
