Over weight?

I am currently 225 pounds. And I’m wondering if me being over weight is my problem with conceiving. Would love any tips on weight loss and infertility cuz of it.

I can’t help re: fertility, but if you’re looking to lose weight for health reasons regardless, I can suggest cutting down on sugar and at least walking more. You’ll be so amazed at quickly and naturally the weight comes off. First start off by cutting out soda and Starbucks drinks (there can be up to 70 grams of sugars in there!!) and try to eat dark chocolate instead of candy bars. Also just try to eat less processed foods in general if you can and increase your veggies. You’ll have so much more energy and I think your body chemistry will change so you can hopefully get pregnant easier! Good luck!

I know this is an old post, but I'm at the same weight as you, and Im not 7 weeks +1 with my 2 baby, after trying for 2 months. Dont get discouraged. maybe talk with your doctor?! Baby dust to you girl. Good luck!!

Personally, I know my cycles start getting irregular after I hit the 200 mark. They were every 21-44 days, and I managed to get pregnant after 9 months of not trying, not preventing at 220 lbs. It's proven that on average, overweight/ obese women take longer to become pregnant than those of a healthy BMI, but it's not impossible! Just be patient.

I think it can. My mom was over weight she started to workout with me going to workout classes and ate a bit more health she lost a lot. And after that she got pregnant after 17 years of trying and going to doctor's she got to pregnant I'm 23 and I have little brother of 5.

it may or may not be. it depends on the woman. I've seen bigger women concieve with no problems while others had difficulties because of it.
