Anyone getting the non invasive prenatal blood test?

It’s around 9 weeks and it’s to find out chromosomal abnormalities but it also tells you your babies gender. I really want to do it because I have 1 boy and 2 girls and I really just want to know. I’m a planner type so the earlier I know the earlier I can start buying things 😂

yes I will be - not really for the gender but to see if I can avoid the invasive testing later like the amniocentisis- it's not covered by insurance in Australia and costs around $500.. but for potential peace of mind at 10 weeks I think it's worth it!

We are doing it at 12 weeks per the doctor. I am also 37 and this is my first.

I am because I'm 37. believe it's normal procedure over 35.

we are doing the test because I'm 36. we will also find out if the baby is a boy or girl cause hubby can't wait lol

yes I am doing the test! We had a false positive on our IPS testing last pregnancy and had to get the NIPT blood work after and everything ended up being fine. We don't want to deal with that again so we're skipping the IPS and just paying for the NIPT 😊
