Everything looks good at 6 weeks. Had my first scan and they said they can make just make out the outline of the baby which is great at this stage. I’m actually supposed to do weekly visits until 12 weeks now.

I’m glad they’re tracking me closely, but I know with such frequent scans I’ll have to go alone sometimes. If I’m due for bad news at one of them I just wish I wouldn’t be alone this time around.

We did confirm it’s just a single pregnancy, so no twins for us. Part of me was hoping since I’ll be 37 when I deliver.
