Was your due date determined by first U/S or last menstrual cycle?

So our pregnancy was a surprise, I had been on BC and having irregular periods. At our first appointment I measured 7 weeks 3 days on the ultrasound so I went by that due date which would be December 11. Today at my appointment they nonchalantly mentioned how I'm due the 5th and I was like 😆😆😆
I mean this is awesome news but I was just wondering if everyone else goes by this & it's been more accurate? Like I said we weren't trying to concieve so the dates are a little confusing from the beginning. Either way, I am BEYOND stoked to learn I'm actually 38+1 and not 37+2 👏👏😇 can't wait to meet baby girl

Both were the same. Only one possible conception date lol

We are going by our scan date but there is only a few days difference for us. With our son though we didn't have an early scan and the dates were a week apart but we went so far over we were booked in for induction anyway.

Due date was first done by lmp and then confirmed with first ultrasound which was the same
When different though they said they go by ultrasound dates

Mine went with U/S! My due date was Dec 8th, then after my first U/S they changed it to Dec 18th! She’s measured big the whole time though!

I️ think a little of both. We’re only measuring 2 days ahead of LMP as of last week and that wasn’t enough for them to want to change expected due date. But from what I understand, babes have growth spurts and unless you measure more than a week ahead/behind your due date shouldn’t change.

My doctor is going off my LMP as I know the date it started and stopped. So with that my due date is 12/01 but when we just did a scan at 36 weeks 5 days it said due date was 12/11 so I fig so will probably come between those two dates

Ultrasound. This is because I got my period twice in sept because of plan b. It really messed me up. I couldn’t tell which time was my real period or not.
