Are you announcing your rainbow baby??

Question

I had a still birth in February at 41 weeks. I am now pregnant and due in May. I'm happy and excited but I feel very uncomfortable announcing to everyone outside my immediate family and close friends just bc I always get that pity look from people.  So, my question is, are you all hesitant on announcing or am I the only paranoid one who doesn't wanna see the sadness and pity and 100 questions about what I'll do now??

We have decided when we conceive again we are waiting until 8 weeks to tell my immediate family, 12 weeks to tell other relatives, & then 16-18 weeks for public knowledge (unless I show early). 
Granted we only lost ours at 6.5 weeks so thats how I feel cause my weeks are based off the fact we never made it to even week 7 before... 
Also girl I’m sending you some baby dust for your 🌈 & pray they remain healthy for many years to come!

I had a stillborn son on March 22nd 2017 due to a cord accident I was 38 weeks. I'm currently 24 weeks pregnant. I'm due March 15th 2018. We told family at our own pace and then announced to everyone else at 20 weeks. I think you just have to do what feels comfortable for you. I thought I wanted to wait to tell everyone until after he was born but I'm too impatient to wait. Plus this is also our son and we're very proud to have him 💙

This sounds exactly the same to my story, we had a still birth 21st feb 2017 due to the cord being around his neck, we are now due in May 2018 with our rainbow baby. We haven’t announced it yet we may do when we find out the sex which could be next week. I’m 16 weeks today. All the best to you and your baby xx

Im 8 weeks 1 day now and don’t go back to the doctor until December 22nd I’ll be 11weeks 5 days. We haven’t even told our families yet. I had two mmc found out at ultrasound that babies had no heartbeats My first was at 12 weeks and second at 11 weeks 5 days. We won’t be telling our family unless the nuchal translucency scan comes back good. We haven’t decided when we will do a social media announcement since we have never made it past the first trimester before. Praying that we get our rainbow baby and get to tell all our family for Christmas.

First of all, I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine what that must've been like and how it continues to impact you. I had a miscarriage at 13 weeks in January. I am now 23 weeks; due end of March 2018. I waited until after the anatomy scan to be open about it. Before that I was hesitant to let people in out of fear it would happen again. The worry stays with you. At work especially I keep it to myself as much as possible because it would be too hard to share with people professionally. Even now, I sometimes want to crawl into a cave until it's over to avoid talking about my baby. I often feel very disconnected. People expect you to act a certain way and it's hard to be the super excited pregnant lady sometimes when you know the feeling of disappointment. Sending you lots and lots of good wishes!

My son was stillborn last year at 35 weeks due to Trisomy 18. 
I'm pregnant with my rainbow due May 30th. I had my first trimester ultrasound at 12w6d and the baby looks healthy, free if any of the markers we saw with my angel Jackson. 
I'm almost 14 weeks pregnant and I still ant bring myself to share the news, not even with our families or most of my friends.

I had a stillborn baby in June. I'm 13 weeks now with this baby and STILL haven't announced. Some of my friends where I live and my colleagues know. But I haven't told my family or best buds back home yet. It's such a hard decision to make. I bought a plane ticket to go see family when I will be 19 weeks so I figure that will be fun to just show up with a belly :)
