I had my Mirena implant put in exactly a week ago and today I stood up and had a gush of blood come out, more than my usual period and blood kept dripping out or gush out every few minutes. All of a sudden this blood clot came out so I called my gynecologist to see if this was normal or if I should go to the hospital and they said it was fine..i haven't had my period in a while because I've been breastfeeding and I also had a d&e; a little over a month ago so I don't know if these play a role or if it's just a heavier period...idk is my doctor an idiot? Should I be concerned?
