I'm 5 weeks with our rainbow baby and spending thanksgiving with my in-laws my husband says it is too early.

I didnt plan on announcing this week, but my son's birthday party was this weekend with my entire family. I whispered it to one person and suddenly now everyone knows haha bunch of big mouths haha

I had a sono at 7w1d and on Thanksgiving I was 8w1d so we ended up telling the families! I'm glad we did because I've had to hide not drinking from them for weeks now! I'm still nervous but we had to tell them!

we waited until 8 week ultrasound. last year we had an ultrasound at 6 weeks, south a heartbeat that was slow but we weren't told that was a bad sign.   ended up telling people at thanksgiving and went for another ultrasound right after and there was no heartbeat so this time we made sure to wait till the 8 week ultrasound when miscarriage rate is only about 2% instead of 15% at 5/6 weeks.  Dr said she was confident in the pregnancy being viable bc of heartbeat and I was measuring ahead etc.
