Help! Dumb question but need answer!

Yesterday I thought I finished my period. I had no bleeding at all. This morning I wake up to brown blood all over me. I cleaned it up and no more blood is there. So, my dumb question, did I finish my period today or yesterday? I am trying to log it right so I can track my ovulation. Thank you ladies! Hope you have a great Thanksgiving! 🦃
