I always wondered if love at first sight was real or just a thing of fairy-tails. What do you think?

I think being in love is about more than initial physical attraction, you have to get to know the person first.  That being said, I agree there's some kind of spark right away if there's a potential for love, whether you like each other or fight right off the bat, I don't think a platonic relationship can turn into true love.  Still waiting for it to happen to me though!

the first time I saw my boyfriend I was in shock. I felt like everything I ever wanted was right there in front of me but I'm so shy I didn't say anything. then he started talking to me and he said that when he say me he just got this feeling. I'm not really his type and he was looking at other people at the time but he saw me and had a feeling and had to follow it and I think that's love at first sight. we've been together for 2 years

I don't think its real. I would say that its lust at first sight. Because of how they look and not because of who they are.

When I met my husband I knew that we would get married and he would give me beautiful babies. I called my Mother and told her. I have no idea how to explain it properly. My eyes caught his, and I was lost and found in the exact same moment. I had to learn to turn it down, whatever "it" is, because when I was away from him, it was just awful. Lol, I'm totally over here smiling, thinking about it. 
His love was very gradual. He rejected me, at first. He says he didn't, but he did. He later told me that when he met me though I was, "cute, but a very stupid little girl who is going to get me into a ton of trouble." So rude! He said that he came to realize I wasn't stupid, just very naive and gullible, and with too much book smarts to have room for any sense. Damn, he's a jerk! Lol

For me, no. Instant attraction, yes. love takes time and really knowing a person. For me, personally, that means over a year. I've known my fiance for 14 years, together for 3, expecting our rainbow baby and while I know him enough to know I love him, I'm still learning new things about him every day :D Neither of us are who we were 14 years ago or even who we were last year. We're both growing and changing constantly. We'll both be totally different people this time next year and even more so another 10 years down the road.

I don't believe you can love someone you don't know. You can lust after them or feel an immediate attraction, but you can't be in love with a stranger.
