How do I get a boyfriend?

This seems like a stupid question a kid would ask. 20 years old and I've never dated anyone. I feel like there's something wrong with me because guys don't approach me. Do I need to make myself more attractive? Put myself out there more? Also I'm pretty fucking feminist, which I've heard guys don't like. Thanks for any advice!

Stop looking so hard, let it just happen. Also, as an FYI, most women are feminists. It only scares immature men away...well, as long as you’re not holding signs that say “death to men” or anything.

Wish I could help you...unfortunately I am in the exact same position! I do find getting involved in things I care about helps with meeting people in general, and doing anything to be more confident and comfortable is a plus.

Men are turned off by feminists, boys are 👌🏻 but don’t worry so much about finding a guy! Just be yourself and with time the right guy will come along. Maybe just go to a store, like a bookstore or cd shop (or whatever you’re into), and try chatting with some strangers. Good luck! ♥️

Don’t force yourself to find someone or get in a relationship. Don’t throw yourself at guys either. When the time is right you will eventually find the guy :) socialize more if you’re an introvert, always be the one to make the move because guys love girls who are confident. Continue conversations but don’t try so hard or look so desperate. If you’re legal, go to nightclubs or parties to just mingle and meet new people, everyone loves meeting new people so don’t be shy about it :)

Guys are typically quite intimidated by women who refer to themselves as feminists, it usually comes across as a sign of trouble simply because of the few women who use “I’m a feminist” as an excuse to be an entitled arsehole and accuse a man of rape for looking at them. They like everything to be simple, relaxed and straight forward. You do not need to make yourself ‘more attractive’, I don’t know what you even look like but trust me, you’re fine as you are. Don’t ever feel like you have to alter your appearance for a guy! Maybe just try and make friends with some guys through mutual friends, or if you use Facebook that’s always a good place to start. When it comes up with those ‘friend suggestions’ if you see a guy on there who looks attractive, is fairly local and has a few friends in common send him a friend request! That’s how me and my partner met, we had a close friend in common and one day I saw him pop up on Facebook so I added him, said hi and we’re now in a very happy relationship expecting our first baby together 💁🏽 just try and get to know people and be yourself, don’t be scared to flirt a bit aswell. Most guys can not take a hint, they love it when you’re straight forward and just tell them what you want! Good luck! 😊
