I just ordered the FemmyCycle Teen, so that it should hopefully be here before I start this coming week. After researching for hours and reading tons of reviews and looking at many comparison charts, I decided on the FemmyCycle Teen because of my personal body/history. (I’m 20, no kids, not a Virgin, but very petite and relatively light flow, and never used a cup before).

I recently started using the NuvaRing for BC (wear 21 days, out for a week to have period, repeat). So, I’ve successfully placed that and worn it without discomfort.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, as I have yet to try a menstrual cup, but..

How different is it to place and wear a menstrual cup than it is a ring? The ring seems larger in diameter than the cups claim to be, and the ring is not uncomfortable. However, I have seen many complain that “normal” sizes where too big and the Teen has worked for them because they are petite.. Are menstrual cups really that large? Some reviews I’ve read on here and online during research make it seem like menstrual cups in general are very large and painful?
