Gender reveal party ideas

Ok, so I'm really early, 4 weeks and I'm already thinking about a gender reveal party lol. To be fair, we've been trying for 8 months and I've been thinking about this for awhile. So I figured out I will probably find out the gender in October ( if all goes well), so I'm thinking of doing like a Halloween theme. I was thinking maybe getting a big pumpkin and putting pink or blue balloons in it. I want to find out with everyone else at the party. I don't want to do a cake, I think that's alittle boring. What do you think of my idea? Any other ideas?
