Sticky eye?

I have a week old who has some yellow sticky stuff on her eyes. She can't open her left eye because of it. Is there any way to treat it at home?

Try a few drops of breast mil massages downward by the tear duct. My son had a clogged duct and that cleared it right up. It’s super common.

if it's a clogged tear duct then a warm compress will help

I had the same thing with my newborn! Clogged tear duct - wipe with a wam cloth to remove all the gunk. But make sure you only wipe it once per cloth (otherwise you could spread infection/genes).

Either conjunctivitis or a clogged duct. Call an actual pediatrician.
