Water broke?

So this morning I went pee before I got in the shower and when I stood up I had a whole bunch of liquid run down my leg then I had to pee again.  My stomach is hard as a rock and a lot of pressure some back pain nothing I can’t handle tho  I’m 38 weeks today

I’m pregnant with my first so idk what it’s really like when your water breaks, but it sounds like it did. I’d go in and get checked in case! Good luck❤️

It could of been your water or your bladder to be honest especially if you had a contraction then had to use the bathroom again.  If it was a large amount of clear liquid that went running down your leg definitely better to go to labor and delivery especially if your having 5 or more contractions in a hour that start getting more painful. I'm currently 32w 4d on baby #3  and have had 1 trip to L&D playing "guess the fluid" game. Turned out I had a small tear in my amniotic sac that healed after a week.  But I've also had 1 time a week ago with a similar situation as yourself and it turned out I peed myself a little between the contraction.

Well my water didn’t break  but was having contractions  they checked my cervix and it’s still closed. But now I’m cramping real bad

You should call your doctor, they can test for amniotic fluid. At our birthing class they said even if it's not labor and is just a leak they'll prob want to put you on antibiotics since it's no longer a sealed environment for the baby.
