I'm 37 weeks and having some second thoughts about how I want this whole childbirth thing to go down. Originally, I thought I would want whoever to be in the room with me during labor. I don't care if my & my hubby's whole family are in there as long as I'm not in too much pain. I like having them around & I'm hoping they can keep me from getting too stressed out. But for the actual pushing part, I thought I wanted my husband, mom and sister. My husband agreed to this and I think he's glad to not be the only support person I'll be counting on. He's kind of nervous I think. But the more I think about it, the more I kind of want it to just be me and him so we can have bonding time for our new family. I know my mom and sister will be great. They'll be able to take pictures that we would be too busy to think to take and they've both been through childbirth. I just can't help but think it might be better with just my husband and me.
