Help!

So we found out I was pregnant about a week or so ago, I was a week late for my period and my hcg levels never got above a 19 even tho I was about 4 1/2 weeks along. I started bleeding last Wednesday so I went to my drs and he said it was a chemical pregnancy/mc... now this may be a stupid question but do I basically have my period or is this bleeding from the chemical??

Sorry if this is a stupid question but I’m not sure and I didn’t ask my dr. And I should have!!!
