how long were you contracting sporadically before you went to the hospital?

a friend of mine that's a ftm  has been having contractions sporadically since yesterday. how long did y'all contract for before going to the hospital?  I was induced 2ce so i never experienced this!

I had contractions for 6 days ten minutes apart and it wasn’t until my water broke that I went to the hospital

I don't think you go to the hospital until the contractions are consisstently happening. I had contractions at night but they would always stop. lasted two days before my water broke

I started having contractions at 3:30am and left for the hospital at 6am. My friend started contracting on a Monday and didn’t go to the hospital until Wednesday. Far as I know it’s about how close they are together.

My water broke and within 10 minutes I was contracting every 5 minutes. I showered and got moving, we didn't wait and my hospital asks you call and since I was overdue they said come on it.
