Can appendicitis feel like muscle strain??

My appendix has been tender to touch the PST week or so and since yesterday it feels like the right side of my abdomen has a pulled muscle. I'm really unsure whether to go to hospital or not with it?? Anyone experienced anything similar?

my husband thought he had a muscle strain, till he couldn't eat without horrible pain and was constipated. we went to the hospital, they tried passing it off as constipation. I told them it sounds like appendicitis, they said they would check but we're "99% sure we were overreacting", half an hour later, they came back with positive test results for appendicitis.

I would go get it checked out! Appendix burst can be really dangerous and it’s just better to rule it out instead of waiting for something to happen. Good luck 👍🏼
