SO Birthday ideas? HELP

Okay so I'm desperate for some birthday ideas for my man! :(

He has made it extreamly clear he doesn't want any gift. So what I was going to do was recreate our 1st date. our first date we had met up at a beach local to us at a specific bench and I had a big purple blanket we cuddled in for hours.

So basically we recently moved into a condo that has a private beach & conveniently a bench lol. So my plan was to make a little scavenger hunt type deal for him to find me & ultimately lead him to the bench on the beach with the same blanket. I know he will appreciate the sentimental value and the effort put in but I can't help but think I could do more to make it special. Please absolutely any advice or ideas are appreciated!
