Have you failed a college class?

I am just curious because I wanted to withdraw from a class and my counselor told me I already missed the date turns out it was the next month. I am failing math and although, I will take it after winter session I am nervous that it will ruin my chances for transfer (in another year).

I’ve failed a few. You can die academic renewal once, which is just you going to a counselor, telling them you want to do academic renewal and it will replace the Ds or Fs with a W. You can only do it once the entire time you’re at the school though. But retaking a class and doing better won’t effect your chances. They’ll see that you didn’t do so well the first time, but redeemed yourself by passing the second time. College professors and administrators are human too. Both my chem and bio professors had to retake chem and here I am retaking it too😂. Math and science classes are difficult, so don’t stress. You’ll be totally fine!
