Is it true they can find out the gender of your baby with blood work ? And is it accurate ? I’m 13 weeks and I got a call from my dr and they asked if I wanted to know the gender ? So I said yes and they said it’s a girl 🎀🎀🎀 I’m just curious if it’s accurate or should I wait till they do an ultra sound to do a gender reveal ?

I had one done for this pregnancy.  They said the results came back male and when they did the ultrasound thats what it was

With the blood work to my knowledge, they can find out the gender because when they look at the cells and whatever else, there’s either male dna detected or none. So for example if they don’t find any male dna then they can assume it’s a baby girl if you understand what I’m saying.

Yes and yes. Its something like 99% accurate. I got the bloodwork done around 11 weeks.

You can absolutely rely on blood-work for the gender. Congrats!

This is what I was told.  It is usually accurate.  if the blood work sayd your having a boy then you are, if the blood work days your having a girl there still might be a chance (although small) that you havr a boy.  The reason for this I was told is they look for testosterone and the only way you would havr that in your system is if you are having a boy.  I'm waiting to see if my blood work is accurate.  December 13th.
