We used IVF to get pregnant with this baby, we have our awesome 8 year old son who was conceived naturally, and then we had two ectopic pregnancies which prompted us to look into what was going on, resulting in us doing IVF....

anyway, this baby was due 11/7/17, as expected I hadn’t gone into labor on my own, and was scheduled to go in for induction 11/13/17 at 6pm, I️ would have been 40w6d, and I️ probably would deliver after midnight making me 41weeks exactly (I️ was also induced and delivered at 41weeks with my first born)

I️ woke up at 6am the morning of my scheduled induction with uncomfortable cramps, I️ went downstairs and told my husband I️ thought I️ was in labor, and was going to get a shower... by the time I️ got out of the shower, the contractions were 3-4 minutes apart and I️ asked him to come up and help me get dressed and to finish packing whatever he needed... by 7:30 they were coming every 2-3 minutes, but our son needed to be put on the bus at 8:30, so I️ was trying to wait it out until then... I️ finally decided at 8am that we needed to go, I️ called my mom, who lives 5 minutes away, and asked her to come put my son on the bus and then meet us at the hospital.. I️ was a complete bitch by the time we got to the hospital at 8:30, my hubby wheeled me up to the maternity floor, where they took me into triage immediately and checked me immediately bc of how I️ was acting, and found I️ was 9cm, so they wheeled me into a delivery room, Doctor is there ready, I️ have 12 nurses around me, one putting an IV in, one putting the baby monitors on, bla bla bla... the doctor checks me, and breaks my water, and tells me it’s time to push, I️ tell her, I️ can’t bc i just got there and I hadn’t had anything for pain yet.. she just laughed and said sorry but it’s time... so we pushed for about 15 minutes, and baby was born at 9:11am... Logan James - 9lbs 1oz, 21 inches long.. sorry for being so long winded about such a short labor.... my mom missed the delivery by 7 minutes, if we had stayed and put my son on the bus like I wanted to, baby would have been born in the car....
