Should I go to the doctor??
(I am 16) I hope this doesn't confuse anyone I'll try my best to explain it!
Sense I started my period I've always had a normal blood flow during my periods, although the length of my periods very alot, my blood flow always only changed very slightly.
my blood flow was usually
-heavy the first 1-2 days if my period was shorter or the first 2-3 days if it was longer (when I say heavy I mean having to change my tampon about every two hours and still possibly leaking)
and then
-lighter the rest of my period
---THIS is just something that happened before my period---
So on September 15th (of this year) I went to the emergency room
I woke up feeling okay just a little stomach ache which I had thought was just cramps as I was supposed to get my period the 16th
I had went to the bathroom had no pain while doing so and went back into my room, sat down on my bed and instantly had the worse stomach pain I have ever felt which progressed into
-I couldn't stand up, I couldn't lay down in any position without it hurting worse, I could barely talk, I had a lot of troubles breathing, I was extremely shaky
I had tried calling my mom up to my room for help (which I could barely yell, thankfully my sister heard and had gotten my mom) My mom had me try and stand up and I couldn't it hurt so bad to move at all. She had helped me up and down the stairs and into the truck to take me to the ER.
They took blood and urine tests for UTI a couple other things and nothing came back positive or seemed wrong. She had told me they could do an untrasound to see if anything was going on on my ovaries. Which me and my mom had decided not to do cause at this time my stomach pain had almost completely stopped and we just decided if it happened again we would do it.
---THIS is the part Im curious about going to the doctor on---
My period after this was late by 4 days and when it did happen it started and I bled for a could hours and then almost nothing until the next morning this happened a couple times during that period.
I've had three periods (including the one Im on rn I started bleeding this morning and stopped a couple hours later) sense the emergency room insident explained above and all of them have been this way where is starts and stops at least once during it, all being randomly and not just on for example day 2 or 3.
Also want to mention that when I first start peeing it hurts a little bit but that first started today when I first started bleeding and that hasn't happned before.
I'm curious on if I should talk to a doctor about it and maybe do the ultrasound they had suggested before or if it's normal and not to worry about it yet.
