Do contractions have to go all the way around to your back?

I've heard the difference between Braxton Hicks and labor contractions is that during labor they sort of wrap around you. Is that always the case?

No, some people have back labor and others front. I’ve had all front with my 3 so I couldn’t tell you how back feels. But from what ive seen it’s painful .... but it’s ALL painful 🤦🏻‍♀️

So, for those of you who didn't know/haven't gone into labor yet, the answer is NO. 
I am in labor. Real labor. The contractions are in the front and  so low that they're in my pelvic bowl. 
Yes, my back hurts too. A lot. But that's not the source of the contraction. 
Nobody told me it could feel like this, so I didn't know. But now I'm telling you so you don't make my mistake.

Mine did because I had back labor, but I don’t think they would go around to your back with regular contractions

Mine did, but I had back labor and a sunny side up baby. Normal contractions do not.

My labor was in my front and especially in my thighs, barely any pain in my back.

I've been getting Braxton hicks on and off for a few weeks now. My stomach never tightens, but I feel back pain and period cramps. My doctor says it's normal. I'm 28 weeks.
