Smelly vagina in early pregnancy?

I’ve never had “bad” odour coming from there before, I mean there is little discharge and it’s only itchy now and again and it’s not sore. I’ve had it for just over a week, I shower every day but I’ve stopped using soap and just use warm water, but it doesn’t seem to be helping much... anyone else?

Maybe you have a BV( bacterial infection)

The smell is due to hormone changes. It happened to me in my first pregnancy and seems to be happening now with my second. It’s more like a musk. It wouldn’t hurt to call your doc though due to the itchy. I would get that checked out. Good luck!

That sounds like BV. Doctors generally won't treat that until the second trimester anyway but it's best to get checked.

The smell is normal it is the hormone changes as far as itching keep an eye on it yeast infections aren't harmful to baby but bacterial vaginosis is and can cause miscarriage so keep a close eye on it.
