When can you find out if you are having a boy or a girl?

This is my third pregnancy and every one keeps telling me that now you can find out when you are about 13 weeks. Is this true? I’m only ten weeks and one day today.

There's a blood test around 10-11 weeks that tells all chromosomes including gender. It's not always covered by insurance so you'd need to check.  Ultrasound is around 16-18 weeks.

We were going to do the genetic testing where gender is included at 13 weeks, but with the information that we're getting from our insurance company it will probably cost us $500+ since my office considers it optional. So we're waiting for the anatomy scan.
