What made you ready to have you’re second child?
My boyfriend and I want to have a other child but my son is 1 yr now is it a good idea to have a other one?

We wanted ours close together so now our daughter is one we've started trying for number two

For us we wanted to wait a year to really soak it all in with our first. We also got married during that year and once he was about a year and a half we thought let's have fun when it happens it happens. It only took 4 months or so. We also knew that one more baby meant daycare would be too much so I would stay at home so we financially prepared ourselves.

We wanted ours to be 1 1/2 to 2 years apart ideally (besides my step daughter who was 5 when our son was born), so we started trying just after our son turned 1. I think that's a good age gap. It's not so big that they can't really play together as they grow but you also aren't dealing with a newborn while pregnant. We also want to be done having kids before a certain age and want 4 kids, so there's a timetable we're dealing with 😂 But my son is just shy of 1 1/2 and I'm due in May and he seems so big now that I really miss the newborn stage, so right now is the perfect time to be having another for us.
