Spotting after sex normal?

My boyfriend and I haven’t really been intimate since we found out we are expecting since I’m high risk but today we decided to have sex. I’m having a little bit of abdominal cramping and back aches now but right after we had sex I had some spotting and I’m freaking out. Is it normal to have a bit of spotting? I’m only 5-6weeks according to my app first appointment is dec 6th.
