IUD string?

I’m getting married next year and am considering getting an IUD for birth control but I have a couple naive questions! 😂
1. Can you feel the string when you wear it?
2. Can HE feel the string too? Or is it not noticeable?

You can’t feel the strings. And very rarely can he feel the strings, I’ve had mine for about two months, and he’s only felt the strings once. I strongly recommend it! Be prepared for an uncomfortable insertion, definitely worth it though.

When I had an IUD I couldn’t feel the string internally, only if I checked it with my finger. My husband never felt the string either, but I have heard of some guys feeling it before.
