Is Mirena a good birth control ?

I've been looking at different birth control and I'm unsure of what to pick I've heard good and bad things about the Mirena what is your guys personal options on it ??

I think they're great! I had one and it worked well.  No issues, no period, no weight gain, no mood swings!! 👍

Yes!!! I loved it, and I am going to get another one placed once I have this baby. No periods, got pregnant right away once it came out, I could not be happier with it. I also felt like the hormones really regulated me, otherwise I have TERRIBLE PMS, to the point that my doctor and I were considering I have PMDD. I mellow out during pregnancy, and I felt the same on the Mirena. Fabulous. Cannot rave enough about it, personally.

The mirena was great when I had it. I got the 5 year one but after 3 years I wound up pregnant and had an ectopic pregnancy. But aside from that it was fantastic, super low maintenance.

Worked great for me. Had in for 6 years no periods no mood swings. Have take out last month and now TTC
